At Kali Yost Law, we take a different approach to helping our clients navigate life's biggest challenges – listening carefully, acting with empathy, and providing legal advice and recommendations that are both proactive and holistic. Whether we're helping to plan your estate, ensuring your informed consent, or navigating sensitive legal concerns related to your small business, our goal is to find creative solutions that bring people together.

Our firm was originally founded in 2013 by Kali Yost, attorney-at-law, who has personal experience with many of the legal challenges she now helps clients to address. That includes becoming a stepmother to her own blended family, serving as a guardian for foster children, and helping her aging relatives with estate planning guidance and recommendations through end-of-life care.

Kali currently provides legal representation for individuals during their stay at the Oregon State Hospital in informed consent proceedings, applying both her education in psychology and the law to advocate for her clients with conviction and compassion. Supported by a team that's equally passionate and experienced in the nuances of Oregon law, she's committed to helping others fully understand their legal options and make confident choices about their futures.

KYL also specializes in estate planning, providing step-by-step guidance for everything from creating a will and establishing a power of attorney to the complex legal process of probate and administering the estate after a loved one has passed. Whether you're looking to protect and provide for your family after you're gone or you need help settling a deceased family member's affairs, we'll stand beside you with legal support that makes the process as easy as possible.

As a small business owner herself, Kali Yost also assists small business owners in navigating the complex waters of running a business from executive coaching, to streamlining processes and procedures, to managing people with more mindfulness and empathy all while increasing the bottom line.
